The announcement by MG Motor UK to the world’s media came in Birmingham, with Guy Jones, MG Sales & Marketing Director, saying he was thrilled and delighted to be taking the famous British brand back into motorsport in conjunction with all-British LMP2 outfit Team RLR
Plans to release new MG6 models

MG Motor has announced plans to launch a new version of the MG6 hatchback, together with a saloon model.
Both the saloon and hatchback MG6s will be released as part of a brand relaunch, boasting nearly 30 new dealerships over the coming months.
The MG6, which will also feature a new logo, is being developed at Longbridge, Birmingham.
According to the manufacturer, both the new cars will deliver improved driving performance, high-quality features and excellent value for money.
The vehicles are expected to be made available in April this year. The launch will be supported by a publicity campaign.
